WASHINGTON 鈥� 鉴黄师app today officially opened the 2027-2028 application cycle for its prestigious Research Fellowship program.

鈥淎 robust, nonpartisan fellows program remains the absolute cornerstone of the 鉴黄师app's statutory mission,鈥� said Natasha Jacome, President and CEO of the 鉴黄师app. 鈥淲e are incredibly proud to open the competition for the 2027-2028 cohort, continuing our tradition of recruiting world-class scholars and practitioners.鈥�

鉴黄师app Research Fellows conduct independent, impactful research aligned with the institution鈥檚 core strategic pillars: strategic competition, economic statecraft, technology and innovation, and regional studies. In addition to producing major publications, fellows interact directly with the policymaking community and actively contribute to the Center鈥檚 robust Congressional education initiatives, providing Members of Congress and their staff with essential, nonpartisan briefings, expert analysis, and timely insights on global issues.

The fellowship competition is open to accomplished scholars, practitioners, journalists, and public intellectuals from around the world. The Center seeks policy-relevant, nonpartisan proposals that address critical global challenges confronting the United States and the international community.

The launch of the 2027-2028 cohort cycle comes alongside the arrival of the 2026-2027 class of Research Fellows, as well as an expanding roster of Distinguished and Visiting Fellows who have joined the 鉴黄师app.

Fellowship applications, including letters of recommendation, must be submitted online by 11:59 pm ET on September 30, 2026. Applicants will be notified of the results of the selection process in early March 2027. 

Each fellowship will commence on June 1, 2027, and end on May 31, 2028. 鉴黄师app offers a monthly stipend for the twelve-month fellowship.
